This is placeholder wording. The full policy will be published here soon.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Lidhero collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our store or place an order. Lidhero is an independent laptop accessory brand operated by JWEBDESIGN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom, trading as Lidhero.

Our store is currently hosted at agent-grip.myshopify.com, and a custom domain is on the way. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with UK GDPR. By using our store and buying from us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

If anything here is unclear, please get in touch. We are always happy to explain how your information is looked after.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information we need to process your order, deliver your Lidhero grip and provide support. This typically includes:

  • Your name, delivery address and billing details.
  • Your email address and, where provided, your phone number.
  • Order details, such as the items you buy, for example a single hand or a twin pack and your chosen character design.
  • Communications you send us, for example support requests or return enquiries.
  • Technical and usage information collected through cookies, such as how you browse the store.

Payments are handled securely by the Shopify checkout and its payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. Card details are processed directly by the payment provider so that your sensitive financial information stays protected.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to run the store and to give you a smooth shopping experience. In practice this means processing and fulfilling your order, taking payment, arranging delivery and keeping you updated about your purchase.

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, and we send tracking by email once your order ships. We also use your details to handle returns and refunds. There is a 30 day return window from the delivery date for unused items in their original packaging, and UK customers also have a 14 day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Where a refund is approved, it goes back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of us receiving the returned item.

We may also use your information to respond to your questions, to improve our products and website, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We only keep your data for as long as we need it for these purposes.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We share your personal and delivery data only with the parties who help us complete your order. This means our payment processors, who take payment securely, and our shipping couriers, who deliver your parcel to you.

Delivery timescales vary by destination, so your address is passed to the courier to get your order to you. Estimated delivery times are:

  • United Kingdom: 3 to 7 business days.
  • Europe: 7 to 14 business days.
  • Rest of the world: 10 to 21 business days.

Shipping cost is calculated and shown at checkout. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing. We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, for example to comply with a valid legal request.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the store work properly and to understand how it is used. Cookies help keep your cart working as you browse, remember your preferences, and give us insight into how visitors move around the site so we can improve it.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please note that turning off some cookies may affect how parts of the store function, for example keeping items in your cart.

6. Your rights and choices

Under UK GDPR you have rights over the personal information we hold about you. You can request access to your data, ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, and request that we delete your data where we no longer need it.

To exercise any of these rights, just email us at support@lidhero.com and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the United Kingdom regulator for data protection.

7. Contact us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or about how we handle your data, we would love to hear from you. You can reach our support team by email at support@lidhero.com, or you can use the Contact page on our store.
