1. Our promise

At Lidhero, we want you to be genuinely happy with your purchase. Your Lidhero is a small weighted hand-shaped grip that clips onto your laptop and holds the lid partly open, so your Mac does not drop to sleep when you step away and your downloads, renders, backups and overnight AI agents keep running. If it is not right for you, we will do our best to put it right.

Lidhero is a trading name of JWEBDESIGN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom. This policy sets out how returns, refunds and exchanges work, and it sits alongside your legal rights as a consumer.

2. Eligibility for returns

You have 30 days from the delivery date to return an item for any reason. To be eligible, the item should be unused and in its original packaging, in a condition that lets us resell it. This applies to both the single hand and the twin pack, across all of our character designs, including sumo, giraffe, skeleton and dragon.

If you are a customer in the United Kingdom, you also have a 14 day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This right starts once you have received your order and lets you cancel and return it within that period. Where both apply, you are welcome to rely on whichever gives you more time.

For a change of mind, you cover the cost of return postage. If your item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the return is free and we cover the return postage in full. Please see section 6 for how we handle those cases.

3. How to start a return

Starting a return is simple. Please follow these steps.

  • Email us at support@lidhero.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
  • Wait for our reply. We will confirm the return address and give you any guidance you need.
  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging so it arrives back to us in good condition.
  • Send it back to the address we provide, and keep your proof of postage until your refund is confirmed.

Please do not send anything back before contacting us, as this helps us track your return and process it quickly.

4. Refunds and processing

Once we receive your returned item and check its condition, we will let you know that your refund has been approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of us receiving the item.

The exact time it takes for the funds to appear can depend on your bank or card provider. For a change of mind return, the original shipping cost and the cost of return postage are not refunded. For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, you are refunded in full, including any return postage you paid.

As a reminder, orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, and estimated delivery times are 3 to 7 business days in the United Kingdom, 7 to 14 business days in Europe, and 10 to 21 business days for the rest of the world. This can help you judge how long your return may take to reach us.

5. Exchanges

Would you prefer a different character design, or would you like to swap a single hand for a twin pack, or the other way round? Just email us at support@lidhero.com and we will help you arrange it.

The most reliable way to exchange an item is to return the original for a refund, following the steps in section 3, and then place a new order for the design or pack you want. This makes sure you get exactly what you are after and that the item you want is in stock. Shipping cost for the new order is calculated and shown at checkout.

6. Damaged or incorrect items

We check every order before it ships, but if something goes wrong, we will make it right. If your Lidhero arrives faulty, damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, please contact us at support@lidhero.com within a reasonable time of delivery.

It helps a great deal if you include your order number and a short description of the problem, along with a photo where possible. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, and we cover the return postage for faulty, damaged or incorrect items. You will never be out of pocket when the fault is on our side.
